Graduate Engineer Trainee: Cyber Security
Overview: In seeking an Intern, we expect him/her to help manage the Cyber engineering and assist with the tools utilized by the cyber team. We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills, a well-organized person who can work under pressure when it comes to meeting deadlines and timetables, and also necessary customer relation skills. The Cyber Security Intern shall be proactive in performing his/her duties assigned from several spheres of the enterprise security program implemented by our security professionals.
This encompasses help in surveillance, threat assessment, compliance process, as well as execution of security standards within the company. The person can work on multiple tasks simultaneously, with minimal supervision, and collaborate with groups, possibly cross-locations.
Job Responsibilities:
● Stay up to date with the activity logged by SIEM tools and other security solutions for threat identification and suspicious activity detection.
● Assistance in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of information technology structures and systems for strengths and risks of security and advice on suitable ways to address these weaknesses.
● Contribute to the case of the security look into an overview of the security breaches such as data leakages, viruses, and other related computer sins.

● Incorporate awareness of the trends, threats, and practices related to security into the work of the team and share that information with the team.
● Use for recording assessment results, incident reports, and outcomes of research. Help in keeping records of any happenings in the cybersecurity field.
● Contribute to the concept and implementation of cybersecurity training for employees.
● Take part in internal and external security audits and assist in the documentation of results gleaned therefrom.
● Should hold adequate information concerning the Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing process and tools.
Qualifications:
● A student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related area at the time of application.
● Knowledge of the principles of cyber defense such as walls, over-enshrinement, threats, offense-defense mechanisms, and network security.
● Essential information about operation systems: Windows & Linux, networks & primitive knowledge about security appliances: antivirus, IDS, IPS, etc.
● Proven competence in the field of cybersecurity and flexibility to work in a client-centered environment.
● With good understanding and executive skills in analysis/problem-solving.
● Good communication skills both written and oral.
● independence and interdependence for individual and team performance.
● Rich experience in writing with a focus on a high level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
● Scripting or programming language (Python, PowerShell, and others). ● Experience in previous internships, coursework, or projects in cybersecurity or Information Technologies is a plus.
Duration: 6 Months.
